"Neuropsychological Evaluations: What are they and what are they used for?"
Neuropsychological Evaluations. What are they? How are they used? Why do they take so long to get!? Dr. Nicole Jones invites you to a discussion to help you understand the important components of a Neuropsychological Exam, how reports are often structured and what can be expected in the intake, testing and feedback. The presentation will also help attendees better understand when a Neuropsychological Evaluation is needed, what the differences are between a Neuropsychological evaluation and other tests (Speech, Psychiatry Evals, etc), how various parties use the reports and the benefits and limitations of a Neuropsych in the IEP process. There will be time to answer general questions but, given time and confidentiality constraints, questions about specific cases can not be directly addressed.
