Movies for Older Adults

The Jenks Center and the Winchester Public Library invite you to join our group, Movies for Older Adults. This group will meet on the first Wednesday of each month at 1:00 PM. Before the meeting you'll have a chance to watch the movie of the month on hoopla using your library card. We will watch movies related to aging and intergenerational relationships.

March's movie is How To Live To 100 (2016),  directed by Jody Cusack. In the movie, Welsh-Italian cook Michela Chiappa visits 100-year-olds, longevity experts, and her own long-lived family in order to unravel the secrets of their success.

First-time hoopla users:

  •  go to hoopladigital.com and create a profile by using your email and choosing a password.
  • when you are logged in, choose the Winchester Public Library from the drop down menu
  • you will be asked to enter your library card number (you only have to do this the first time you log in)
  • you can now search for and borrow up to 10 titles per month (movies, books, audiobooks, and music)

Please email Erin Dagenais at edagenais@minlib.net if you have any questions or need more information.

Registration for this event has now closed.
