In 1862, a group of Winchester residents invited renowned abolitionist Frederick Douglass to speak at Lyceum Hall (across the street from what is now BookEnds). Join archivist Dr. Ellen Knight, author Nathan Richardson, and a member of the Mystic Valley NAACP via Zoom to hear an account of this speech and explore its implications for today. Hosted by the NFSJ, Winchester Historical Society, and Winchester Anti-Racism Solidarity Collective.
