Documentary Film Discussion Group: Hot Coffee (2011)

Hey, movie lovers! Please join the library's new monthly documentary film discussion group. View our movie of the month (free on hoopla) and we’ll get together via Zoom to talk about it together. You will have time to watch the movie at least once before we meet. Our librarian, Erin Dagenais, will choose the films and facilitate the group discussion. Bring your own popcorn!

December's film is Hot Coffee. Filmmaker Susan Saladoff directs this documentary that examines the case of Liebeck v. McDonald's Restaurants, the so-called "hot coffee lawsuit" in which a woman sued the fast-food giant after she spilled her coffee and burned herself.

The movie is available to stream for free on hoopla for those with a Winchester Public Library card. Just log into the catalog to access it.

*Please note that this is an adult event and this movie is not appropriate for children.

The Zoom link will be sent to all registrants on the morning of the program. Please send any questions to Erin at edagenais@minlib.net.

Registration for this event has now closed.
