Travels Through the Heart and Soul of New England with Ted Reinstein
Thursday, November 137:00—8:00 PMLarge Meeting RoomWinchester Public Library80 Washington St, Winchester, MA, 01890

For more than 25 years, award-winning journalist and author Ted Reinstein has covered New England for WCVB’s celebrated show, “Chronicle,” the nation’s longest-running locally-produced nightly newsmagazine. Ted has visited and reported from every corner of New England, introducing viewers to some of the region’s most interesting people and their stories. Now, he condenses all of the most memorable people he’s met in his travels and shares them and their stories in his newest book. Ted will share the stories and the people who have left a lasting impact on him, accompanied by some brilliant photography. Some stories inspire, some are fascinating, others are moving, and some are just plain, laugh-out-loud funny. (Wait’ll you find out what runs a certain very old rope-tow in Vermont!) And because no one loves a great diner more than Ted, he also shares his favorites in all six New England states. It’s a rousing, fast-paced road trip through a whole region of America you’ll see in a new way. It’s a love song to New England. It’s truly a journey through its heart and soul.
Registration is appreciated but not required.
Supported by the Friends of the Winchester Public Library.
