Have you recently discovered – or are you wondering – if ADHD has quietly shaped your life’s journey? In this supportive, interactive workshop, co-facilitators Faith Shuster and Dr. Karen Abdool bring both professional expertise and lived experience as late-diagnosed ADHD adults. Together in this workshop, they create space to connect with others, explore ADHD-related strengths and challenges, unlearn outdated beliefs, and experiment with practical strategies and self-care tools.

About the facilitators:
Faith Shuster is an Executive Function Coach and founder of Effect Learning LLC. Faith has a rich background in education and a deep, personal understanding of executive function challenges. She holds a Master’s in Education from Stanford University and a Biology degree from Tufts, and has taught and led programs for neurodiverse learners at organizations including the Carroll School and Acera School. Faith coaches both children and adults, drawing from years of experience supporting individuals with ADHD, dyslexia, and autism, as well as her own journey with undiagnosed ADHD. Her coaching blends research-backed strategies with lived experience to help clients of all ages build personalized systems for self-management, develop lasting habits, and grow the confidence needed to thrive.
Karen Abdool, MD, PhD is a board-certified psychiatrist with over 15 years of experience treating anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, trauma-related conditions, and postpartum mental health. As founder of Beryllium Psychiatric Services, and as Mental Health and Wellness Director for the New England Medical Association, she focuses on the connection between mental and physical health, health equity, and community education. Widely recognized for her compassionate, holistic approach, Dr. Abdool has presented at the Massachusetts State House, testified before the Joint Committee on Public Health, and spoken nationally on mental health. Dr. Abdool trained at Howard University (MD/PhD) and Harvard Medical School (residency, Global Mental Health) and has held leadership roles at Lynn Community Health Center and Atrius Health.
